Villarosa retains PH Youth super fly crown

CLAIRE “The Hammer” Villarosa of Kidapawan City defeated unbeaten Felipe “Quadro King” Tiempo of Nasipit, Agusan del Norte by a unanimous decision to retain his Philippine Youth super flyweight title last Sunday night, May 24 at The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.
It was the second title-defense by the 20-year-old Villarosa for his 7th straight win against no loss and draw.
Tiempo, on the other hand, suffered his first setback after four wins.
The “Triple Threat” boxing event was promoted by Cucoy Elorde and Lennon Tsoi. [Lito delos Reyes]
