Three Davao boxers will return home empty-handed after failing to register a single victory against their Thai rivals in today's boxing event at Ritthinarongron School in Bangkokyai, Bangkok, Thailand.
According to reports posted at BoxRec.com, Jack Asis, who lead the Davao campaigners, lost by KO in the 4th round of the scheduled 12-round encounter against Saenghiran Lookbanyai for the WBC Asian Boxing Council super bantamweight title.
Jack Maldecir also lost by KO to Sairung Suwanasil in the 2nd round of their 6-rounds flyweight bout.
Only Philip Parcon prevented a shutout when he salvaged a technical draw against Pigmy Muangchaiyaphum. The bout ended in round 2 of the scheduled 6-rounder fight. Parcon was a replacement of Ni?o Suelo who was earlier booked to take on Muangchaiyaphum.
There was no report on another fight scheduled to take place in the same event between Samuel Duran and Prawet Singwangcha. It was probably cancelled.
