Filipino chess players make a courtesy visit to GAB chairman

Grandmaster Rogelio "Joey" Antonio together with International Master Jose Efren Bagamasbad and National Master Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr., made a courtesy visit to Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Francisco J. Rivera at the GAB Central Office in Makati City on Tuesday, March 10.
Also present during the visit were GAB officials Dr. Oliver Evangelista and Atty. Erose Marlo Laeno.
The Filipino chess players are set to compete in the Australian chess tournament next month such as the Doeberl Cup International Chess Tournament (April 2-6, 2026) in Melbourne; Sydney International Open (April 8-12, 2026) in Sydney and Melbourne International Open (April 14-19, 2026) in Melbourne.-Marlon Bernardino-
