Tyson Fury completed his side of the equation for heavyweight boxing’s most elusive blockbuster, dismantling veteran Mariusz Wach before the Polish fighter was pulled out on his stool at the end of the seventh round.
The bout, held before a crowd of 1,500 at the Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, served as Fury’s second victory of 2026 following a 16-month layoff. With the seventh-round TKO, the 37-year-old "Gypsy King" (36-2-1, 24 KOs) cleared his final tune-up hurdle — shifting all pressure onto rival Anthony Joshua.

Post-Fight Fire: Fury Takes Aim at AJ
In his post-fight interview, Fury wasted no time directing his focus toward Anthony Joshua.
"I got through my test tonight. Let's see if he gets through his test and the biggest test of it all — how big his balls are," Fury declared. "If he had been in the ring tonight instead of Wach, I would have jabbed his head off and chinned him."
Despite rumors that Fury might fly to Saudi Arabia for a ringside face-off, Fury confirmed he will not be in Jeddah for Joshua’s upcoming bout. Having spent six of the last seven months away in training camps, Fury stated he is returning directly to the UK to be with his family.
With Fury taking care of business in Pattaya, the boxing world now turns its attention to Saudi Arabia. If Joshua handles business against Prenga, the long-awaited, multi-million-dollar "Battle of Britain" will finally have zero remaining obstacles in its path.
