Martin’s ring return will take place in the fall

LAS VEGAS (July 22, 2026) — Frank “The Ghost” Martin has signed a multi-year promotional contract with Top Rank.

The 31-year-old former world title challenger, now campaigning at super lightweight under head trainer Buddy McGirt, will return in the fall.

"Frank Martin has established himself as an elite talent, and the biggest opportunities of his career are still ahead of him," said Top Rank President Todd duBoef. "The super lightweight division is filled with compelling matchups, and with Frank's talent, he is positioned perfectly to capitalize. His future is bright as we work toward securing his ultimate world championship goal."

Martin said, “I’m excited to continue my journey under the Top Rank banner. The company has a history of building stars. I want to continue building out my resume, become champion and stamp my legacy as one of them ones in the sport.”

“I am honored to be in a position to facilitate this deal,” said Adrian Clark, Martin’s manager. “Frank is now backed by the iconic Top Rank, which has another superstar in the making. I’m very excited for what’s to come.”

Martin (19-1-1, 13 KOs), a Detroit native, turned pro in October 2017 and broke out in 2022 with a fourth-round stoppage of Filipino puncher Romero Duno and a 10-round shutout of then-unbeaten Michel Rivera. The following year, he outboxed 2016 Olympian Artem Harutyunyan, forcing him to take a knee in the 12th before earning a unanimous points win. After his June 2024 showdown with Gervonta Davis, Martin moved up to 140 pounds and blasted out former world champion Rances Barthelemy in four rounds last December before battling Nahir Albright to a draw in February.
