NONTHABURI, Thailand — Filipino flyweight Reymark "Lucky Boy" Alicaba (10-10, 8 KOs) from Davao del Sur has successfully made weight and is set to face Thailand's WBC #4 flyweight contender Thananchai Charunphak (29-2, 16 KOs).

Their six-round non-title clash is scheduled for Friday, March 27, at 6pm (Filipino Time), at the NKL Gym in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

It’s a great opportunity for the experienced and strong-looking Alicaba to challenge the world ranked boxer. Because even thought it’s a six-rounder, a win would put him in the world-ranking, opening doors for the pogi Pinoy boy!

Alicaba is guided in Thailand by coach Jomar Fajardo of Iloilo and veteran coach Frank Jaro of Rizal.

Boxing fans in the Philippines can catch the action online for free.

The bout will be broadcast live on Thailand's Channel 8 and streamed worldwide on MuayCh8's YouTube channel (5pm Thailand Time, 6pm Philippine Time).
