Mexican IBF super flyweight world champion Irma "Torbellino" García, 44 (25-5-1, 5 KOs), will make her second title defense against undefeated British challenger Emma Dolan, 27 (8-0, 1 KO), at the Olympia in Kensington, London, on April 5th. The fight is part of a special 10-fight women's card, including three world championship bouts, organized by Most Valuable Promotions.

This world championship fight places Irma García among the oldest reigning world champions in history, a list headed by Jamaican Alicia Ashley at 49, Soledad Matthysse at 45, and María Rivera at 44, both from Argentina.

Before turning professional in May 2010, García was a member of the Federal Police and currently works for the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC). She also holds a law degree.

Irma “Torbellino” García is more than a boxer: a lawyer, police officer, and athlete, she has faced countless obstacles in her professional boxing career, demonstrating one of the greatest examples of perseverance, discipline, and training in the history of world boxing.
