DCL amateur MMA on Feb. 21 at Sta. Lucia Mall

THE Davao Combat League [DCL] Amateur Mixed Martial Arts will have its initial offering on February 21 at the Sta. Lucia Mall in Buhangin.
A total of 13 pairs from different matches – mixed martial arts, kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu.
“Eight MMA plus two kickboxing and three Jiu-Jitsu will compete,” said Mark Nimanand of DCL on Thursday, January 29 at DSA Forum in SM Davao.
The main event features Dave Villarias of Limitless-Davao City against King Gideon Jay Mangalili of Cagayan de Oro City in MMA.
“We showcase the city’s best young mixed martial arts athletes, drawing spectators from all over the region,” said Nimanand.
The fighters are coming from Limitless Fitness of Davao and students of URCC legend Victor Torres from Cagayan de Oro.
The fight will start at 6 p.m.
Pitted in the co-main event are MMA’s John Labang of Iflex-Davao against Nathan Rey Mandonahan of CdO.
