
Almacen Brothers Make Weight, Ready for Battle in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand -- The young Almacen Brothers, Alexander and Mark Jason, have successfully made weight and are feeling confident and strong ahead of their fights this Saturday, February 27, at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. They'll be LIVE around the world on Triller TV.
Alexander Almacen (3-0, 0 KOs) of Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, will look for his fourth pro win against local warrior Jakkraphan Khanommak, 21, in a four-round flyweight clash. Alexander's fight kicks off the 12-bout card at exactly 1 pm Thailand Time (2 pm in the Philippines), promoted by Filipino promoter Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions.
Next up is brother Mark Jason. Mark Jason "KingBabyBoy" Almacen (2-0-1, 1 KO) takes on Thailand's Natthaphat Thangsalai, 19, in a four-round war at 108 pounds.
Both Almacen brothers will be guided by Filipino coach and former fighter Jomar Fajardo of Iloilo, with Carlos Costa of Cebu as their referee.

The non-title fights are supervised and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), with Naris Singwancha as officer in charge and Thanat Saraban as inspector.
In the main event, undefeated German fight girl Melina Maibaum (14-0, 6 KOs) faces experienced Thai warrior lady Phannaluk Kongsang (18-16-1, 9 KOs) for the WBC International Super Bantamweight Title.
