As the 2025 Southeast Asian Games officially begin this December, Cebuana Lhuillier President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier expressed strong pride in Cebuana Lhuillier sports ambassadors AJ Lim, Ruben Gonzales, and Francis Alcantara as they represent the Philippines in this year’s tennis competition.

A long-time advocate for tennis development through his leadership at Unified Tennis Philippines (UTP), Lhuillier has consistently supported efforts to broaden opportunities for Filipino players—especially those who inspire the next generation through excellence, discipline, and passion for the sport.
He emphasized how meaningful it is to see Cebuana Lhuillier ambassadors competing at the region’s premier sporting event.

“I am incredibly proud of AJ, Ruben, and Francis,” Lhuillier shared. “They are outstanding athletes who exemplify dedication and true Filipino excellence. Watching them compete on this stage is a testament to their hard work, and they continue to inspire so many young players across the country.”

Apart from Cebuana Lhuillier sports ambassadors AJ Lim, Ruben Gonzales, and Francis Alcantara, the roster also includes national team members Jed Olivarez and Iggy Pantino.

As the tennis matches begin, fans are encouraged to cheer for the Philippine team as they return to the courts tomorrow, December 11 at 9:00 AM, in line with the official SEA Games schedule. With national pride on the line, the Cebuana Lhuillier ambassadors aim to deliver strong performances for the country.-Marlon Bernardino-
