Las Vegas, NV (September 16, 2025) — The Eighth Annual Box Fan Expo once again delivered the ultimate fan experience this past Saturday, September 13, at the Las Vegas Convention Center — drawing in nearly 4,000 passionate boxing fans from across the country to the event.

Coinciding with the highly anticipated Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford showdown later that evening, the Expo lived up to its billing as “The Ultimate Boxing Fan Experience.” Fans were treated to exclusive meet-and-greets, autograph signings, and photo ops with past and present champions — from Roy Jones Jr., Teofimo Lopez, Tommy Hearns, Marco Antonio Barrera, Shane Mosley, James Toney, Riddick Bowe, Shawn Porter, Juan Francisco Estrada, and rising star Tito Mercado. Boxing promoters Top Rank Boxing, TakeOver Sports, and Marvnation Promotions joined the virtual boxing game Thrill of the Fight 2, along with streaming boxing network Ringside Network, FightBook, for their own activations, joining promotions from other boxing, clothing, and fitness brands.

Spotlight on the Future of the Sport
One of the most inspiring highlights of this year’s Expo was the Box Fan Expo Invitational 2025 — a sanctioned USA Amateur Boxing tournament that showcased 50 amateur bouts, highlighting the future of the sport. Sponsored by Teofimo Lopez and his Takeover Sports, and the Thrill of the Fight 2, the Invitational featured nearly 200 registered amateur boxers, youth to young adults, from across the country, including standout talent from boxing hubs like Las Vegas, California, Texas, and Arizona.

The tournament was produced to support U.S. amateur boxing in Las Vegas, with the guidance of Barry’s Boxing Center, a Las Vegas non-profit committed to shaping youth through discipline, community, and the sport of boxing. Local gyms such as Mayweather Boxing Club, Richard Steele’s Boxing Gym, Vargas Boxing, Las Vegas Fight Club, Salas Boxing Academy, Knuckleheads Boxing Gym, Pound For Pound, Center Ring Boxing, DLX Boxing, Mob Boxing, among others, proudly showed up with young fighters eager to shine.

Why It Matters
Box Fan Expo continues to be more than just an event — it’s a cultural touchpoint for boxing that bridges generations, unites communities, and lifts the next wave of champions. Whether fans came to meet their heroes or cheer on tomorrow’s contenders, the energy in the room was undeniable.
