Day Two of 2025 USA Boxing National Open Delivers 108 Action-Packed Bouts in Tulsa

National Open Day Two Hosts 108 bouts inside Arvest Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. (September 17, 2025) – The 2025 USA Boxing National Open returned to action Tuesday inside the Arvest Convention Center in Tulsa, Okla. Day two saw jammed packed action from both sessions as there were 108 bouts decided.

The male competition continued with more action from the Peewee, Bantam, Intermediate, Junior, Youth, and Elite divisions. USA Boxing fans will see female competition begin tomorrow, Wednesday, September 17.

Lavant Brownlee (Louisville, Ky.) returned to the ring this evening for his first time since earning a gold medal at the 2025 Bradenburg Cup in Germany. Brownlee was one of seven Americans to earn gold in Germany, and he carried that momentum right into Tulsa with his RSC victory in the first round.

"It always means a lot to me when I get to compete and showcase my skills on a national level," Brownlee stated after his victory on Tuesday.

Day three of the National Open will continue on Wednesday, September 17, from the Arvest Convention Center. Session one will kick off at noon CT, followed by session two at 6 p.m. CT. Boxing fans can view brackets, bout sheets, results, and all other tournament information for the 2025 USA Boxing National Open HERE.

The 2025 USA Boxing National Open will run until Saturday, September 20, with two daily sessions Monday through Thursday, starting at noon and 6 p.m. CT. Friday and Saturday will consist of one session each day, beginning at noon.

Each session throughout the week of the 2025 USA Boxing National Open will be broadcast live, free of charge, on the USA Boxing website and the USA Boxing YouTube page. Tickets to attend the event are available for purchase at the door for $10 for a day pass, $50 for a week-long pass, and $25 to attend solely Saturday’s championship bouts.
