NEW YORK CITY (July 23, 2025)— Puerto Rican sensation Xander Zayas will have his first world title shot at his home away from home.

Zayas will lock horns with Mexican puncher Jorge Garcia for the vacant WBO junior middleweight world title this Saturday, July 26, at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The 22-year-old made history as Top Rank's youngest signee at 16. Six years and seven MSG appearances later, he's ready for the most significant moment of his career.

In the co-feature, Brooklyn native Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington takes on unbeaten Namibian Mateus Heita for the WBC interim featherweight world title.

Emiliano Fernando Vargas returns against Ecuador’s Alexander Espinoza in an eight-round junior welterweight battle.
