Laurente and Marapu Make Weight for IBF Regional Title; Gaballo Fights Tomorrow in Sanman Boxing Show in Gensan

General Santos City, Philippines — The weigh-ins for the much-anticipated IBF Pan Pacific Lightweight Championship main event concluded in General Santos City, setting the stage for a night of high-stakes boxing at the Phela Grand Convention Center Gensan tomorrow August 31. Criztian Pitt Laurente, who stepped to the scales at 134.5 pounds while his opponent Hebi Marapu weighed also 134.5 pounds.

Laurente, visibly energized and eager, expressed his excitement about fighting for his first regional title in front of his hometown fans. “I’m excited to be fighting for my first regional title fight in front of my hometown fans. I’m ready and I’ll do my best to win,” he said, delivering a message of confidence and focus ahead of the bout.

In the co-main event, a 10-round bantamweight showdown features Reymart Gaballo and his opponent Pawan Kumar Arya both weighing in at 119.2 pounds. Gaballo, a former two-time interim world champion, looks to capitalize on his experience and showcase his skills against a determined opponent.
