
Bisutti, Panya Make Weight for UBO World Title in Highland Show on DAZN

BANGKOK, Thailand - Italian Alessio "The Hammer" Bisutti and reigning WBC Asia Champion Panya Chomphoophuang of Thailand successfully made weight and faced off ahead of their 12-rounder bout for the vacant UBO Heavyweight World Title.
The match is part of the Highland Boxing Promotions show on August 30 at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, live on DAZN.
"The Hammer" Bisutti (13-1, 12 KOs) from Venice, Italy, weighed in at 111 kgs, while 34-year-old Panya Chomphoophuang scaled in at 93 kilos.
Both fighters looked strong and ready to rumble, eager to claim the title. Worawuth Duankhao of Thailand will serve as the referee, and Carlos Costa of Cebu, Philippines, will be the supervisor.
In the co-feature, undefeated Pakistani boxer Usman Wazeer (16-0, 11 KOs) will face battle-tested Indonesian Stevie Ongen Ferdinandus for the vacant OPBF Silver Welterweight Belt. Both warriors look relaxed and in perfect shape as fans can see in this Philboxing pic. Visuth Yingaupagarn will referee the match, and Royal Thai Army General Damrong Simakajornboon will oversee it.
This Highland event on DAZN also features a four-round bantamweight bout between tall and cute Japanese warrior Tomomi Nakano and Thai fighter Sukanya.
Additionally, Kritiphak Duangnut of Thailand will take on undefeated Malaysian boxer Hazman Iskandar Zulkifli Siew (4-0, 3 KOs) for the vacant Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) Featherweight Title.
Other notable matches include a showdown between 20-year-old Kazakh fighter Timur Bassitov (4-0, 3 KOs) and experienced Tanzanian boxer Boniface Saguda (10-2, 9 KOs), as well as a six-round super flyweight bout between Magdalena Szwed (3-0) of the United Kingdom and Pattera of Thailand.
Four Filipino boxers are also scheduled to compete: Elmo Traya (15-5) in the super welterweight division, Rockie Bactol (1-2) in the super middleweight division, Lemuel Kenneth De Barbo (4-0) in the super featherweight division, and Leonard Porres III (4-0).
The Highland Boxing Promotions show, in association with FCC (Fight Club Championship Thailand) and the Naris Singwancha Foundation, will feature a total of 30 bouts.
