Live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn This Saturday, March 1, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT

BROOKLYN (Feb. 25, 2025) -- PPV.COM, which does not require a subscription, returns to the ring when it live streams to boxing fans, in the U.S. and Canada, an explosive battle between reigning world champions from rival cities. WBA lightweight champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis (30-0, 28 KOs), from Baltimore, will defend his title against WBA super featherweight champion Lamont Roach, Jr. (25-1-1, 10 KOs), from Washington, D.C., in the main even rumble of an action-packed pay-per-view event, live from Barclays Center, in Brooklyn! The Tank vs. Roach world championship pay-per-view event will take place this Saturday, March 1, beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Priced at $79.99, it can be ordered by clicking here: PPV.COM - Davis vs. Roach.

"The March 1 135-pound matchup between Tank Davis and Lamont Roach is one of those near-inevitable boxing events which has been brewing for years, going back to their amateur days. Roach had a largely successful amateur career, but lost twice to Davis in their only meetings. And though Roach has had a mostly successful professional career, it has been Davis, with his unusual skill-and-power combination, who has built a vibrant fan base and achieved pay-per-view clout. So, Tank is the obvious favorite, though the guy who washes my car assured me Roach has “a puncher’s chance”. Maybe, but clearly the spectacular puncher in the fight is Tank Davis. He wants a win which will move him toward possible fights with Vasiliy Lomachenko, Keyshawn Davis, and/or Shakur Stevenson. Roach is a familiar face who represents a steppingstone to those bigger money fights. And regardless of what my car wash guy says, the puncher in the fight is Tank Davis," said Hall of Fame boxing commentator Jim Lampley, who returns to ringside to co-host the exclusive and wildly popular viewer chat, in real time, throughout the PPV.COM Tank-Roach world championship event HD live stream. Jim's eagerly anticipated memoir, It Happened!: A Uniquely Lucky Life in Sports Television, complete with a foreword by Taylor Sheridan, will be released on April 15.

Joining Lampley on the live viewer chat will be award-winning boxing journalist Lance Pugmire and popular podcast hosts Dan Canobbio and former WBO junior welterweight world champion Chris Algieri. Jim, Lance, Dan, and Chris will also be providing exclusive fight week commentary and reports from Brooklyn for PPV.COM's website and social platforms.

The Tank vs. Roach pay-per-view live stream undercard will feature three exciting title bouts, including: WBA super lightweight world champion Jose "Rayo" Valenzuela (14-2, 9 KOs), a native of Los Mochis, México, now living in Renton, Washington, in a title defense against Gary Antuanne Russell, Jr. (17-1, 17 KOs), the WBA's no. 5 world-rated contender who hails from Capitol Heights, Maryland; undefeated WBC super lightweight champion Alberto Puello (23-0, 10 KOs), from Las Vegas, Nevada, and the first Dominican fighter to win a world title at 140 lbs,, will make his first title defense against the WBC's no. 1 world-rated contender and mandatory challenger Sandor Martin (42-3, 15 KOs), from Barcelona, Spain; and opening the pay-per-view will be rising star and WBA no. 2 world-rated contender Yoenis Tellez (9-0, 7 KOs), a native of Cuba now living in Stafford, Texas, against former WBA/IBF super welterweight champion Julian "J-Rock" Williams (29-4-1, 17 KOs), from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tellez and Williams will be battling for the interim WBA super welterweight title.

PPV.COM, which does not require a subscription, will offer Tank vs. Roach for $79.99 in the U.S. and Canada. iNDEMAND, the parent company of PPV.COM, will also be carrying the event through its network of cable and telco operators in the U.S. and Canada via providers including Xfinity, Spectrum, Contour, Optimum, Fios, Rogers, Bell, SaskTel, and Telus, among others.
