Kenneth Llover.
CEBU, Philippines — This could not be more exciting for fans!! Promising Filipino Young Gun Kenneth “Lover Boy” Llover of General Trias, Cavite, is set to battle former 2-division world champion Luis “Nica” Concepcion of Panama on Sunday, August 17, at the Winford Resort and Casino in Manila, Philippines.
The clash promises to test the youth, speed, and skills of our rising-star against the lion-heart courage of a veteran battle-tested proven warrior.
Promoted by Gerry Peñalosa and Japan’s Kameda Promotions, Kenneth Llover (14-0, 9 KOs) will be battling former 2-division world champion Luis “Nica” Concepcion, who's 40-11 with 29 KOs.
Billed as "Mano A Mano" this matchup is widely expected to be an explosive night of boxing, to be broadcast live in Japan on ABEMA TV.
Beloved and much-appreciated Gerry Peñalosa, head of Gerrypens Promotions and a former champion himself, thinks that this August 17 fight against “Nica” will show how ready Llover is for the next level.
Fans agree.
Then, will the 22-year-old Llover pass the tough test with flying colors, handsomely defeating the former world champion?
Or will the old Lion King Concepcion still have claws and a big deafening roar for the young Mufasa? 🦁 May The Best Man Win!!
