In a exciting rematch between two former 2-division world champions, Juan Manuel "Juanma" L?pez (33-3, 30 KO's) of Caguas, Puerto Rico, weighed-in at 129 lbs., while dangerous Daniel Ponce de Le?n (45-5, 35 KO's) of Chihuahua, M?xico weighed-in at 128.5 lbs. for their battle for the WBO Jr. Lightweight International Title tomorrow (Mar 16 in the Philippines) at Rub?n Rodr?guez Coliseum in Bayam?n, Puerto Rico.

The fight is a rematch that took almost 6 years to make. In their fist clash for the WBO Super Bantamweight Title back in 2008 in Atlantic City, a very fast, sharp and powerful Juanma threw devastating combinations that staggered and sent Ponce down to the canvas on his buttock.

The strong Ponce managed to stand up, but without legs and in an unstable condition was easy prey for predator Juanma who again caught the Thumamara warrior with a hugely damaging right hook that prompted the referee to halt the uneven match at the 2:25 minute mark in round 1.

Both Juanma and Ponce are southpaw fighters who packed huge power in their left hands which clearly suggest that the fight will not reach the distance.

In that first encounter, Ponce, a member of the Tarahumara tribe, left himself vulnerable and wide open for Juanma's sharp powerful blows. Six years later, it seems unlikely that Ponce will let the same successful surprise attack to knock him out happen.

Looking in great shape, both hard-hitting sluggers promised victory as the fight's winner positions himself for a possible world title match up against any of the 130-pound world champions in the fall.

Will Juanma Lopez pummel and punish the Mexican warrior again.... or will the proud Ponce de Leon flip the tortilla to get revenge from the most humiliating defeat in his stellar boxing career?

The exciting Juanma VS Ponce rumble is one of the undercards in the main event headlined by Puerto Rican Unified WBC/WBA Jr. Welterweight World Champion Danny "Swift" Garcia (27-0. 16 KO's) of North Philadelphia against Mexican-American challenger Mauricio "El Maestro" Herrera (20-3, 7 KO's)
