ALVIN “Pitbull Tyson” Camique of Sultan Kudarat was rushed to the hospital after losing by a unanimous decision in his rematch to Ibrahim Mafia of Tanzania last May 1 at the EACLC, Ubungo in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania.

The 28-year-old Camique reportedly suffered food poisoning before the fight.

"I just forced myself to climb up even though I wasn't myself, I was just thinking about fighting so I could go home because I felt weak." said Camique.

He added: "I was thinking if I didn't fight, I might not make it home alive after the fight."

Camique was already weak when he was sitting down.

He was okay when the female nurse picked him up in a wheelchair.

“But I was so scared that I couldn't do anything. When I woke up, I was already in the hospital,” said Camique.

He was given two dextrose.

“It's good that the coach didn't eat too much, that's why he didn't sleep,” said Camique.

Camique and his team were given beef that allegedly contained medication, which caused them to feel weak and drowsy.

The hotel compound where they were staying had high walls that prevented them from leaving.

They were only given food provided by their hosts.

Camique suffered his 5th loss against 22 wins with 6 knockouts and 1 draw.

It was a rematch with Mafia, who lost by a technical knockout in the 4th round last October 10 at Viwania Posta Dar-Es-Salaam.
