Chinese 112-pounder Wang Xinhua continues full-throttle training at the Manny Pacquiao Gym in advance of his 12-rounder clash for the vacant WBC International Flyweight title against Filipino former world title challenger Renan Trongco next Saturday (Sep 7) at Elorde Sports Complex in Para?aque City, Metro Manila.

The Trongco-Wang rumble is crucial for both fighters as the victorious not only captures the WBC international belt, but also a place in the WBC flyweight rankings.

The 28 year-old Wang Xinhua (10-8-1, 0 KOs), born in the northeastern Chinese City of Harbin, is being trained in the Philippines by head coach Lito Jalnaiz of Bohol and trainer Allan Alegria of Cotabato del Norte.

In his last outing, Wang - who is handled by Chinese promoter Liu Gang of Zovi Boxing Promotions - won a split decision against Filipino Lionel Legada (10-5-1, 5 KOs) last June in Dubai, U.A.E.

Meanwhile, Renan Trongco (13-4, 8 KOs) sees his battle against Wang Xinhua as a stepping-stone in his goal of fighting for a world title for a third time.

In 2011, Trongco, 24, lost by knockout to then WBA champ Sammy Gutty in Argentina and earlier this year he lost again against IBO ruler Hekkie Budler in South Africa.

In a war of southpaws, will Chinese warrior Wang Xinhua outsmart Trongco in his own backyard to grab the WBC International belt and a world ranking.... or will Trongco overpower the visiting Wang to keep alive his dream of a third world title challenge?

The Trongco-Wang battle for the WBC International Flyweight belt is a promotion of Elorde International Productions.
