WBC Middleweight World Champion Sergio ?Maravilla? Martinez of Argentina continues to do well in his rehab therapy aimed at improving the movement of his left hand which was fractured during his gutsy performance against British Martin Murray (25-1-1, 11 KOs) last April in Buenos Aires.

During the second round of the tough title fight, Mart?nez suffered a "left hand carpal large bone compression fracture." He pulled off a hard-fought win before his home town fans, but needed to be in a be in a splint, followed by months of rehabilitation. That night, the Argentinian also re-injured his right knee, operated last November in Spain.

Fortunately, the slick 2-division world champion is doing well, his rehab progressing fine, and his much awaited return to fight action could be in March of next year.

The return of the 38 year-old Maravilla" Mart?nez (51-2-2, 28 KOs) could be rematch with Mexican Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., or a unification battle against new middleweight sensation WBA middleweight champion Genady ?GGG? Golovkin (27-0, 24 KOs) of Kazakhstan.
