In an exciting action fight, promising rising star Jerwin "The Pretty Boy" Ancajas (16-1-1, 8 KOs) will be in a collision course against tough Armando ?Muscle Man? Casa for the vacant LuzProBa Bantamweight Title in the main event of ?Bigwas At Lakas Ng Quezon? this Saturday (Aug 24) at Lucena City Convention Center, Quezon Province.

"Yes, it's a good fight and everything is running smooth in Lucena. Me and my boss SBS JOXEN just arrived last night from Lucena. Jerwin Ancajas is in a good fight. Lolito 'Thunder Shot' Sonsona is featuted in the co-main event and his brother Eden 'Mr. Showboat' Sonsona is scheduled in an exhibition fight," commented fight matchmaker Mary Grace Escanlar today.

Ancajas?s fight will mark his return to combat mode after his knockout win over Chinese Xu Runlong in December of last year in Hainan Island, China.

The promising 21 year-old Ancajas ? a former Asia Pacific Youth Super Flyweight Champ ? is a prot?g? of manager Joven Jimenez, director of Top Contender Boxing Stable in Imus City Cavite.

In the other corner, tough opponent Armando ?Muscle Man? Casa (11-10-5, 3 KOs) of the Casa Boxing Stable in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, has his own plans.

The active ?Muscle Man? Casa has drawn in his two fights this year. Last March, Casa, 28, drew against Roman Canto (8-2-2, 3 KOs) in Cavite, and in April he drew against Jetro Pabustan (21-1-5, 6 KOs) in Batangas.

After so much training, Casa feels that its about time for a big win. Fans will find out if he can score it against Jerwin Ancajas, a fine boxer who hasn?t climb up to a ring in eight long months.

In the co-main event, Lolito Sonsona of General Santos City will battle Albert Alcoy for the LuzProba 115-pound belt.

In addition, hard-punching 20 year-old Aston "Mighty" Palicte (10-1, 8 KOs) of the Jason Soong Boxing Stable will be in a collision course against 20 year-old Masbate native Gerald Cortes (3-7-4, 2 KOs) of Muntinlupa's Arescon Stable.

The exciting Palicte-Cortes rumble is a non-title 8-rounder clash in the super bantamweight division.

Fights begin at 5pm and GMA 7 will tape all the combats for a later broadcast hosted by popular presenter Manolo "Chino" Trinidad.

No boxing fan in Lucena City should miss the action.

The exciting ?Bigwas at Lakas Ng Quezon? this Saturday at Lucena Convention Center is a production of Joel O. Ostria of SBS Boxing Promotion and Joven H. Jimenez of Joven Sports Promotion in association with GMA Channel 7.
