Thailand's WBA Interim Flyweight Champion Kompayak Porpramook (on the right), makes the first defense of his world title against hard-hitting Japanese challenger Koki Eto today (Aug 1) in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand; and when the bell rings, the third man in charge will be experienced Silvester "Robocop" Abainza of the Philippines.

The 31-year-old champion Kompayak Porpramook (50-4, 35 KOs) - the same fighter who was knocked out and dethroned last year by Mexican WBC world champion Adrian "El Confessor" Hernandez - bounced back into contention by overpowering Venezuelan Jean Piero Perez to capture the vacant WBA interim belt last April in his land of Thailand.

Meanwhile, the challenger, WBA #7 Koki Eto (13-2-1, 10 KOs), a hard-swinging 25-year-old warrior from the land of the Rising Sun, does not intend to let pass his golden chance to conquer a world crown.

The much taller Koki Eto aims at scoring the power blows that will force the demise of the tough and more experienced champ Kompayak Porpramook today. Will he be able to do it?

The Kompayak Porpramook vs Koki Eto WBA interim title clash today in Bangkok, Thailand, is a production of Diamond Boxing of veteran promoter Virat Vachirarattanawong to air LIVE throughout the Kingdom at 1pm (Thailand Time) on Thailand's Channel 7 (www.ch7.com).
