United Boxing Promotions Fight Card Results from The Hershey Center

In the main event Denton Daley sends Mauro Oridiales to the canvass winning the fight by KO.
Mississauga, Canada - Professional Boxing thrives at the Mississauga Hershey Center courtesy of United Boxing Promotions that held their second independent fight card on December 1 after a long series of co-promoted events. If the mission is to keep boxing alive, nurture the sport and make it bigger with each show in the Toronto region, then United Promotions is on track with another ambitious fight card. The venue had a better attendance compared to their first independent fight card back in September.
The televised fight card was well put together to satisfy broadcast standards as well as the fans; everything unfolded in a timely manner without incidents. The seating at the floor levels were full and a healthy crowd filled most of the auditorium, a great sign for boxing in this beautiful city.
Local Pugilist who are young, hungry and talented, fighting to make a name for themselves such as Denton Daley, Brandon Cook, Steve Wilcox and Junmar Emon make their return to the Hershey Center.
Main event: Denton Daley vs Mauro Ordiales
Denton Daley proves his worth as a main event fighter once again. He outclassed Mauro Oridiales with his speed, ring generalship and transitional punches that caught Oridiales like a sitting duck. Daley connected with a quick left punch to Oridiales head that sent him to the canvas early in the first round and made his bad intentions for Oridiales for the rest of the round. In the second round, Daley assembles combos early and lands a big right on Oridales? chin sending him to the canvas; the referee immediately stops the fight. Denton Daley moves up to 8 wins and still undefeated.
Brandon "Bad Boy" Cook wins a decision over Filipino Junmar Emon that disappointed the fans in attendance.
Co-main Event: Brandon ?Bad Boy? Cook vs Junmar Emon
This fight was bumped to a 4 round co-main event since Brandon Cook?s original opponent did not show up due to travel complications.

Dillon "Big Country" Carman sticks the passive Peter Erdos with a jab
Heavyweights: Dillon Carman vs Peter Erdos
Peter Erdos fought slow, safe and lacked the drive to press the action. Dillion Carman started imposing his will against a passive Erdos and started muscling him.
Erdos kept his hands down and was open for some big shots. Carman took the opportunity to punish Erdos who answered back with a few hard punches; however Erdos? punches were far and few between. Carman gave a boxing lesson for the most part to Erdos and knocked him out early in the third round that ended the fight and earned his fourth victory.
Steven Wilcox administers a boxing lesson and cruises to victory over Harrison McBain
Lightweights: Steve Wilcox vs Harrison McBain
This is the fight for the supremacy of Hamilton where both boxers came from; there is huge height and reach difference between Steve Wilcox and Harrison McBain. Wilcox started to read McBain carefully and patiently, he studies his timing and learns his opponent and makes the necessary adjustments. With each round, Wilcox increased his attacks choosing his body and head punches carefully one shot at a time scoring many clean punches. Harrison McBain ate many punches from the methodical Wilcox over 6 rounds; he took them all without ever going down. Steve Wilcox puts on a boxing clinic over 6 rounds, he got hit a few times but overall, another tremendous performance from Wilcox who earns his fifth victory.
Natalie Brown sends Tammie Johnson to the canvass and wins by KO.
Women?s Boxing: Natalie Brown vs Tammie Johnson
Both have local coaches who have made a name for themselves in boxing. Natalie Brown is coached by the infamous Chris Johnson and Tammie Johnson is coached by Billy Martin. It took only 2 rounds for Natalie Brown to dominate Tammie Johnson. Brown was just too much to handle for Johnson who was over matched in this fight. Natalie Brown will be a force to reckon in the women?s light welter weight division.
