Filipino Canadian Junmar Emon who won his pro debut last May fights again this Saturday in United Promotion?s upcoming fight card ?Full Throttle? at the Mississauaga Hershey Center.

In his pro debut, Jumar Emon was in a memorable ?David vs Goliath Battle? where he dominated and defeated a towering opponent that was close to a foot taller than him.

In his second fight, Toronto?s Junmar Emon drops to welterweight and will be up against Ryan McGrady of Truro, Nova Scotia, both boxers are evenly matched up at 1-0. Jumar Emon the pressure fighter vs the intense Ryan McGrady equals excitement from start to finish.

Ryan McGrady is a decorated Nova Scotia Provincial Champion. This writer was previously from Halifax, Nova Scotia and has experienced life in Canada?s East Coast; we live by these words?.. ?It?s a tough life but a good life?. Expect major intensity from the mighty Ryan McGrady who will be in Emons face throughout the fight. East Coasters are built naturally strong and tough; there will be no backing down for McGrady.

Junmar Emon is lightning fast on his feet and can cut the ring in a wink of an eye. He is a pressure fighter and has all the finest qualities of Filipino Prized Fighter that will engage toe to toe. Emon?s ability to pry his way inside his opponents and punish them with body shots will be key to neutralizing McGrady?s intensity. Emon?s coach Richard Souce reports his boxer is healthy and sharp and in better shape than last time. He handled himself well in his pro debut and will handle himself better this time since he has made a successful transition from the amateurs. Fighting at welterweight is where they want to be, at this weight class, he is pleased with Emon?s power and speed.

The younger Filipino Canadian Boxing Phenom Marc Pagcaliwangan who will be making his pro debut in a few weeks in Montreal had the opportunity to work and spar with Junmar Emon on several occasions. Having both Filipino-Canadian Boxers work together is certainly a milestone for Filipinos in professional sports here in Canada. Team Pacaliwangan?s coach Socrates Celestial who is familiar with Junmar Emon?s boxing career reports that this is the best Juman Emon he has seen over the years and comments ?Junmar is in amazing condition, the defense and offence is all there, most of all he is relaxed and composed when he sparred against Marc.?

United Promotions fight card Full Throttle?s main event features Denton Daily vs Jason Douglas with several exciting fights in the undercards. The slick Steve Wilcox from Hamilton who has made one lasting impression on his pro debut last year is up against Sandor Horvath. Brandon Cook who is a very popular name at the Hershey Center makes his return faces Danny Netzer.
