PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES---A scant three days after carving a masterful 12-round victory Sunday for the WBC International Super Featherweight Championship, Manny Pacquiao is raring to go back in training for his anticipated fight against the Mexican star ERik "El Terrible" Morales.
"Baka sa August balik ensayo na ako," Pacquiao said in a victory party at the Mandaluyong Head Office of San Miguel Corporation which hosted "Magpapa-inom si Manny" gathering for media and friends Wednesday and top SMB officials headed by Mr. Ramon Ang (SMB-CEO/ President), Mr. Ferdie Constantino (SVP/Chief Finance Officer), Mr. Robert Non and Mr. Serge Salombro.
"Talagang paghahandaan ko nang husto si Morales," added the Filipino boxing icon who is a franchisee and an endorser of SMC and the Company's various products.
With hardly any marks on him from his encounter with former bantamweight champion Oscar Larios, Pacquiao again expressed his gratitude to his countrymen's
support in the Mano_A_Mano classic last Sunday.
"Masaya po ako at nakapag-bigay na naman ako ng kasiyahan kahit papaano sa ating mga kababayan, tulad din ng pagbibigay ng kasayahan ng San Miguel Beer,
Ginebra San Miguel, Magnolia Fresh Milk, Magnolia Ice Cream at marami pang iba," he said.
"Makakaasa po kayo na lalo kong pagbubutihin ang aking training, sisikapin kong muling bigyan ng kasiyahan at inspirasyon ang ating mga kababayan," Pacquiao added.
