Hard-hitting SEA Games bronze medalist Mark Ashley Fajardo signs with Sanman Boxing

Hard-hitting Philippines national team amateur standout and South East Asian Games bronze medalist Mark Ashley Fajardo has signed with Jim Claude Manangquil’s Sanman Boxing in partnership with Roy Cuico. The knockout artist will campaign in the super lightweight and welterweight divisions as he makes his move to the pro ranks.
In his statement, Fajardo said he is excited to turn pro and will train harder to become a champion. He also explained that he chose Sanman Boxing after seeing how boss Jim Claude Manangquil handles his boxers, adding that he believes the team can help him reach his dream and goal of becoming a world champion.
Sanman Boxing CEO Jim Claude Manangquil expressed confidence in the signing, stating that he believes Fajardo will be very suited to the pro ranks. He cited Fajardo’s heavy punching power and pro-style fighting, and said the fighter will be a threat to all super lightweights and welterweights in the future.
Fajardo is expected to make his pro debut in October.
