All Grown Up: Grandy Twins Ready to Launch the Next Phase of Their Boxing Journey
HOUSTON, TX (July 28, 2026) – Rising boxing prospects and viral TV sensartions, Steven and Daniel Grandy, reached a major milestone this past Friday, July 24, 2026, celebrating their 18th birthday and officially beginning the next chapter of their promising careers. Now eligible to compete as adults, the highly touted twin brothers are eager to showcase the growth they've achieved inside and outside the ring when they return to action on August 14 as BiYu Promotions launches its new boxing series, "Fights Under the Lights," at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas.
Competing in separate four-round bouts, the Grandy twins will have the opportunity to perform in front of a hometown crowd of family, friends, and loyal supporters from their adopted hometown of Houston. The event marks not only the beginning of an exciting new promotional series but also the start of what many believe will be a breakout year for two of Texas' brightest young talents.
For Steven and Daniel, who were childhood stars at 5-years old on the Steve Harvey Show, Good Morning America, ESPN, FOX Sports, turning professional at such a young age required patience, sacrifice, and years of dedication. Now that they've officially entered adulthood, both brothers view this moment as the culmination of a journey that has prepared them for the opportunities ahead.
"We've worked our entire lives for moments like this," Daniel Grandy said. "There were a lot of early mornings, long hours in the gym, and sacrifices that people never got to see. Since we went viral as kids, every step of the journey has made us stronger, and we're incredibly grateful to our family, coaches, and everyone who believed in us. Turning 18 and finally being able to compete as adults feels like we've reached another important milestone, but we know this is only the beginning."

With the excitement surrounding their return to the ring continuing to build, the brothers promise fans they will bring the same energy and determination that have made them among the sport's most talked-about young prospects.
"Fans can expect us to leave everything in the ring," said Steven Grandy. "We're coming to put on exciting performances, show how much we've improved, and give everyone a reason to remember August 14. We respect every opponent, but when that bell rings, we're there to make a statement and continue building our careers one fight at a time."
BiYu Promotions President Bobby Harrison believes the timing couldn't be better for the twins, who enter the event carrying significant momentum after years of steady development.
"Steven and Daniel have earned everything that's coming their way," said Harrison. "Turning 18 is a huge milestone, and they're entering this next phase of their careers with tremendous momentum. They've matured both as athletes and as young men, and I think fans are going to see two fighters who are ready to take the next step. We're excited to have them featured on the inaugural 'Fights Under the Lights' card because they represent exactly what this series is all about…young talent, exciting competition, and the future of boxing."
Steven Grandy (4-0, 4 KOs) will put his undefeated record and perfect knockout streak on the line against Gerardo Chavez Reyes (3-5, 2 KOs) in a scheduled four-round super featherweight bout. Twin brother Daniel Grandy (4-0, 3 KOs), will see action in a separate four-round contest when he takes on Eduardo Tarango (1-5).
