Tickets are now sale for WBC interim world super-middleweight champion Lester Martinez’s first interim title defense against Luka “The Thunder” Plantic, 13-0 (10 KOs), of Zagreb, Croatia.
Martinez, 20-0-1 (16 KOs), of Guatemala City, and WBC No. 3- and IBF No. 13-ranked Plantic, 13-0 (10 KOs), will meet in the 12-round main event of a ProBox Promotions world championship event on Saturday, August 29, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
Tickets, starting at $50 + fees, are now available through the USC Galen Center Event Page, through ProBox TV Tickets, or 24 hours a day by phone: 1-833-550-6452.

In other featured fights that night, WBA No. 4-, WBC No. 10-, IBF No. 9-, and WBO No. 15-ranked light-heavyweight Najee Lopez, 16-0 (13 KOs), takes on WBA No. 9-ranked Colombian Juan Carrillo, 15-0 (11 KOs).
Additionally, WBA No. 2- and WBC No. 4-ranked super bantamweight Ramon “Dinamita” Cardenas, 27-2 (15 KOs), of San Antonio, will face WBA No. 12-ranked Leonardo Carrillo, 20-1-1 (9 KOs), of Panama City.
Also scheduled is a 10-round lightweight battle between IBF No. 10- and WBA No. 14-ranked Luis “Koreano” Torres Valenzuela, 22-1 (13 KOs), and Jordan “Shortdog” White, 20-2 (12 KOs).
Plus, Filipino knockout artist Weljon Mindoro, 17-0-1 (16 KOs), will take on three-time world title challenger Carlos Ocampo, 38-4 (26 KOs), of Mexico.
Five more action-packed “Future Stars” series bouts between some of boxing’s best new talents are scheduled on the exciting undercard.
Please be aware that tickets are moving fast and the venue is tracking toward a complete sellout. If you plan to attend, it is recommended to buy your tickets early to ensure guaranteed seating.
On fight night, the Galen Center doors open at 1:30 pm (PT) and the action starts at 2:30 pm (PT). The Future Stars portion of the show starts at 2:30 pm PT/5:30 pm ET and will run until approx. 5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET. The World Championship series part of the show begins at approx.. 5:00 pm PT. The main event ring walk will begin approx. 10:30 to 11.00 pm PT.
