
DOUBLE MINPROBA TITLE FIGHTS THIS SATURDAY IN SARANGANI

International matchmaker and promoter Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions has confirmed the staging of an exciting boxing card this Saturday night (July 16) at the Kiamba Civic Center in the seaside municipality of Kiamba in Sarangani, southtern Mindanao.
The boxing card features the dispute of two Mindanao Professional Boxing Association (MinProBA) titles, the flyweight and bantamweight belts.
In the explosive main event for the MinProBa flyweight championship, undefeated 23-year-old Bais Singwancha (13-0, 4 KO's) of nearby Maasim, Sarangani, will clash in a thrilling 10-rounder against Ronnie Dalot of Surigao.
The co-main event features Elmar Singwancha (14-13, 3 KOs) and Rex Granada of General Santos City battling for the vacant MinProBA bantamweight title.
In a preliminary combat, 21-year-old light flyweight fighter Bimbo Nacionales (11-3, 2 KO's) of General Santos City will rumble 10 rounds in the minimumweight division against fearless Geboi Mansalayao of Baguio.
Another high octane clash is the 10 rounder between local kid 24-year-old bantamweight Paul Apolinario (10-7-2, 6KOs) and Ruel Suya, 23, of Baguio City by way of Masbate.
Also scheduled is light flyweight southpaw John Rey Pasaylo (1-2, 1KO) of Sarangani in a collision course against the very dangerous and more experienced "Boy of Steel" Reynaldo Belandres (13-2-2, 8KO's) of Matalan, Cotabato del Norte.
Moreover, an 8-rounder action match that will delight boxing fans is this: unbeaten local warrior Weljan Ugbaniel (6-0, 2 KO's) in a battle to keep intact his unblemished boxing record against the 23-year-old knockout seeker Elbert "Tyson" Guardario of Gensan.
Special attraction on fight night
Exciting prospects Rey Lorito, the newly crowned PABA light flyweight champion, and Roilo Golez, new WBC Asian minimum-weight king will be in attendance to meet and greet boxing fans in Sarangani.
The young new regional champs will talk to fans to share about their recent amazing KO victories in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Rey Lorito and Roilo Golez, who are both handled by the card promoter Brico Santig, captured important regional boxing titles against formidable dangerous world rated thai warriors.
Against all odds in furious wars the two young pinoys emerged victorious. This surprising feat that has inspired young boxing talents in the Philippines.
That's a reason why Rey Lorito and Roilo Golez, along with their promoter Brico Santig were welcomed at the Games and Amusement Board (GAB) where they met the distinguished chairman Don Juan Ramon "Monju" Guanzon as well as commissioner Matthew "Fritz" Gaston.
Both high ranking officials were delighted to chat with the young champions and offered their best advise.
Rey and Roilo, the shy champion kids from Mindanao, will be glad to meet fans in Sarangani.
Roilo was born in Compostela Valley while the 20-year-old Rey Lorito hails from Calinan, Davao del Sur. Both young champs will be present on Saturday night at the Kiamba Civic Center.

Boxing patron Mr. Naris Singwangcha of Thailand is the card's guest of honor. Mr. Singwancha is the guiding mind behind the rewarding triumph of Thailand's reigning WBA super flyweight interim world champion Teeparith Singwancha.

Fans should kindly take note that certain boxing schedules have the wrong date for this card. This action card at the Kiamba Civic Center in Sarangani will take place this Saturday JULY 16.
