SOSA STOPS RUBILLAR IN 7TH ROUND

Mexico City, MX?Word from Mexico is that WBC Light Flyweight titlist, Edgar Sosa, retained his titled for the sixth time when he scored a 7th round stoppage victory over Filipino Juanito Rubillar. Sosa had blood in both eyes early in the fight. However, in the 7th he was able to hurt Rubillar. Unable to recover, the referee stopped the fight in the 7th round with just 10 seconds left. Sosa ups his record to 34-5 (18 KOs), while Rubillar falls to 46-11-7 (22 Kos).
