Ancajas Boxing team to join Koronadal slugfest

THE Ancajas Koronadal Boxing team will join the Summer Training Festivalympics Boxing tournament on May 16 at the Marbel 1 Central Elementary School Gym in Koronadal City.
Head coach is Jesar Ancajas, the elder brother of former IBF World super flyweight champion Jerwin.
Allan Parcon and Jesar Ancajas are the assistants.
Jesar Ancajas’ three sons – Jarrell Mark, 15, John Lord, 13, and Jayen Clent, 11 are all seeing action.
Jarrell Mark is a two-time bronze medalist in Batang Pinoy and a three time silver medalist in Palarong Pambansa.
“He was a three-time gold medalist in the SRAA Meet,” said Ancajas.
John Lord, on the other hand, is an undefeated two times Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines [ABAP] Meet,
The Ancajas Boxing team, which is based in DBG Gym is also composed of JR Detablan, Kyle Whittmer Shane Salas, RV Sorolla, Shan Diaz, Angelo Escleto, Jesar Lebrado, Ian Segua, Justin Dela Cruz, Carl Lumbay,Adren Monar, Dominic Saldo, Roldan Dasilao, JR Jurada, Kurt Sola, Joseph DelaTorre, Kristian Rendon, Sheila Montaño and Love Elambre.
The tournament is part of the grassroots program organized bythe City Sports Development Program of Koronadal City.
