“I am so excited for this tremendous opportunity coming up on May 22, where we will be defending the WBC Silver world title,” said Yamil Peralta. “My entire team and I have been preparing extremely hard for a challenge of this level. I especially want to thank all the people who have always supported us. First and foremost, the WBC and its president Mauricio Sulaimán, who has always believed in us; my promoter Charly Tello of Tello Box for making this fight possible; and my manager Ignacio Martínez. I also want to thank Golden Boy Promotions for this opportunity. We are going to defend this belt the best way possible. I have the experience necessary to come away with the victory and launch my career onto the biggest stage, leaving everything in the ring. We hope to return to Argentina victorious and share this joy with all of our people.”
