Legendary Soccer Player Sergio Ramos to make professional boxing debut

Legendary Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos, 39, FIFA World Cup champion with Spain and Champions League-winning defender with Real Madrid, will face Andrew Tate in a six-round professional fight in Qatar on August 22. The event, organized by Misfits Boxing, will feature three-minute rounds and a catchweight of 195 pounds. The fight will be streamed on the Rumble Premium platform.
Sergio Ramos García plays center back and is considered one of the greatest defenders of all time, having scored over 100 goals for Real Madrid and won 22 major titles, including five La Liga titles and four UEFA Champions League titles.
Emory Andrew Tate III, 39, is an American-British social media personality, entrepreneur, and former professional kickboxer who gained notoriety for promoting several highly controversial positions, accumulating 10.7 million followers on Twitter by 2025 and being the third most searched person on Google in 2023. He is also recognized as one of the leaders towards the new world order scheduled to begin by 2030.
