Rising Filipino billiards sensation Rodlin John "RJ" Bautista is set to make waves at the prestigious Las Vegas Open 2026 schedule on February 18 to 23, 2026 at the West Gate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Supported by sportsman Jimmy Astorga, Bautista, the pride Quezon City will be playing in the US$150,000 total pot tournament dubbed as Pro Billiard Series Las Vegas 2026.

"I hope to do well in the tournament," said Bautista.

Bautista has already made a name for himself, earning back-to-back MVP honors in the B League Collegiate Billiards Circuit in 2011 and 2012. Now, he's gearing up to compete against the world's best in his upcoming US trip.

Under the watchful eye of world renowned coach Ramon "Maestro Monching" Mistica, Bautista has been rigorously training in Quezon City, fine-tuning his skills and strategies. He dreams of carving out a legacy to that billiards icon Efren "Bata" Reyes, whose dominance in the sport remains unparalleled.

It shall be recalled that Bautista finished 9th to 12th place in the 34th Annual Andy Mercer Memorial 9-Ball Classic 2025.
Placed 13th in 8-Ball and 17th in 10-Ball, respectively during the 2025 US Open Championship in Las Vegas.-Marlon Bernardino-
