THE exciting Ironman 70.3 Davao will be back on March 22 as one of the most competitive races in the Philippines.

“Athletes will dive into the calm waters of Talomo Bay, with the majestic Mt. Apo as their backdrop,” said race director Julian Valencia of Sunrise Events.

He said that “the bike course charges down the smooth and lightning-fast Davao City Coastal Road, where sweeping bay views fuel the chase for speed.”

“The run brings the action into the heart of the city, with roaring crowds, urban energy, and seaside stretches pushing athletes to the finish,” said Valencia.

“Fast, straightforward, and packed with spectators, Davao is the ultimate proving ground for first-timers hungry for glory and seasoned triathletes chasing personal bests,” said Valencia.

Valencia added: “With world-class hospitality, excellent accommodations, direct flights, and a finish line atmosphere that crackles with energy, IRONMAN 70.3 Davao delivers fierce competition and unforgettable moments.”

Meanwhile, the 5150 Samal Individual and Relay Triathlon for 16- year old and above is set on September 20 at the Island Garden City of Samal.
