SOUTHPAW RV “The Crusher” Deniega of General Santos City will face Japanese Hijiri Oka on January 23 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
“It's okay, the preparation for this fight is still intense,” said the 26-year-old Deniega.
Deniega [12-2-0, 8KOs] is trained by Jr Edurot of the Sanman Boxing.
“I prepared for this fight because of this opportunity,” said Deniega.
Deniega recently scored a 1st round knockout on Anferne Palarca of Las Pinas City last November 9 in Gensan.
“Good luck to him too. I hope that we will be able to fight well and people will watch,” said Deniega.
Oka, 23 [2-0-0, 2KOs], on the other hand, stopped Chirawat Phrmma of Thailand in the 1st round last November 11 at Korakuen Hall.
Hideyuki Ohashi of Ohashi Promotions is the promoter.
