Nicaraguan Boxing Commission hold Annual Awards to 2025 winners

The Nicaraguan Professional Boxing Commission (CONIBOP), presided over by General Molinares and Enrique Armas, Vice Mayor of Managua, held its annual awards ceremony recognizing the best professional boxers of 2025, including promoters, sponsors, referees, and media.

Nicaraguan boxing, like that of other countries such as Panama, Venezuela, Argentina, and Mexico, receive strong support from national, municipal, and state governments for the organization of Olympic and professional boxing events annually.

The charismatic star and female boxer of the year, Eveling "Colocha" Ortega, was not present.

The 2025 Winners:

Jhon Keneth Rios - Professional Boxer of the Year 2025
Eveling Ortega - Junior Female Boxer of the Year 2025 WBO Latino Minimumweight Title
Jordan Orozco - Professional Boxer of the Year 2025
Alex Ballecillo - Professional Boxer of the Year (International)
Luis Pavón - Prospect of the Year
Yanior Vega - Rookie of the Year 2025
Isaac Berrios - Special Recognition
Julio Cabrera - Male Fight of the Year 2025
Roxana Mendoza - Outstanding Fight of the Year
Michael Carmona - Ángel Guevara - Outstanding Fights of the Year
Dr. Carlos Ruiz - Manager of the Year
Gemelo Promotions - Promoter of the Year
Enrique Portocarrero - Gueguense Box - Special Recognition
Ramón González - Referee of the Year
Karla Estrada - Professional Female Referee of the Year
Campeones TV - Broadcast of the Year Award
