Rapista fails to win IBF Youth super fly

KENNETH “El Rapildo” Rapista of Davao City failed in his first attempt to win the IBF Youth super flyweight title.
The 21-year-old Rapista bowed to Japanese Hayate Hanada by a unanimous decision last Saturday, October 25 at the Bishkek Arena in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
It was the first setback by Rapista after seven wins with six knockouts.
The 23-year-old Hanada, on the other hand, improved his record by five wins with two knockouts, one loss and one draw.
Meanwhile, former WBO world bantamweight champion John Riel “Quadro Alas” Casimero of Ormoc and undefeated Reymart “Cebuano Assassin” Tagacanao of Cebu also both suffered setbacks in the same card.
The 36-year-old Casimero [34-5-1, 23KOs] lost by a unanimous decision to Kyonosuke Kameda [16-5-2, 9KOs] of Japan.
Tagacanao [11-1-0, 9KOs] lost by UD to Japan’s Ayumu Sano [11-0-1, 5KOs] in a super flyweight.
Koki Kameda promoted the boxing event with Seiji Shinoda as the matchmaker.
