Riyadh Season and Matchroom announced partnership

Matchroom Sport and Riyadh Season have formally announced a partnership to organize a series of major boxing events to be held in Saudi Arabia under a new hosting agreement with the country's General Entertainment Authority (GEA).

Matchroom Boxing has previously hosted a number of major events featuring champions such as Dimitry Bivol, Anthony Joshua, Jai Opetaia, and Conor Benn, among others.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), stated: "Riyadh Season is synonymous with major global events of the highest quality, and Matchroom Sport has been a key partner in many of these high-profile events. We look forward to strengthening this relationship and collaborating to deliver even more spectacular tournaments and shows. Our partnerships are focused on a new world, and that is the path we are taking."

The new partnership focuses on the Riyadh Season brand at various Matchroom Sport events.

The Riyadh Season, which began in 2019, recently surpassed 20 million visitors in its latest edition.

The Riyadh Season has been making momentous changes in sports, impacting millions of fans of various sports worldwide.
