Kieron Conway has warned George Liddard that he will ‘knock him out’ when they clash at a sold out York Hall on October 17 – broadcast live, worldwide on DAZN.

Conway downplayed his rival’s chances of prising his British & Commonwealth Middleweight titles in the capital during a fiery head-to-head in Episode 3 of Matchroom Boxing’s new Flash Knockdown Podcast.

Liddard, however, believes he’s got nothing to lose and is confident he will upset the odds at the iconic London venue to celebrate his biggest scalp to date.

The standout quotes from their heated verbal exchange can be seen below – along with the Podcast in full, free to watch now on Matchroom Boxing’s official YouTube channel.

Also on the show, hosted by Jamie Ward and Scott Hammerton, Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis reveals he has set his sights on landing a World Title at 154lbs starting on October 11 – but Boots’ upcoming opponent, Uisma Lima, believes a shock victory in Philadelphia will put some respect on his name.

SELECTED QUOTES FROM EPISODE THREE

KIERON CONWAY:
"In my opinion it’s a step too soon for him. I’m wondering where the confidence is coming from. Is it manufactured? I don’t see why it would be real.

"His performances have been good but I’m not like these guys who have been falling over.

"I’ve got a little one now. Every day, every session, every moment is all for her now and in the future. Someone coming and telling me they want to take that away pisses me off. That’s my motivation going into everything.

"I’m better in every department. If it gets rough, which it will, I’ve got the bigger heart and reason why.

"I knock George out. There’s no way a young lad is going to walk around saying he’s going to knock me out, I’m not going to let that happen. He’s over confident."

GEORGE LIDDARD:
"I cannot wait, this is another step-up which I’m ready for.

"I wouldn’t be in this fight if I wholeheartedly believe I can win this fight. I didn’t need to take this fight, I want to take this fight. It’s a big opportunity for me, I’m next in line to fight for these titles.

"When I beat Sutton I said I wanted Conway next. Matchroom have delivered on my ask.

"There is no Plan B for me, boxing is it for me. I genuinely believe I can go on and achieve big things in the sport. This is a stepping stone to those moments.

"He’s in good form, stopping three out of his last four which is good because I don’t want any excuses. He’s got everything to lose in this fight and I’ve got everything to gain.

"I genuinely think I’ll knock Conway out, this fight changes everything for me."
