Ronny Alvarez and Pedro Veitia Added to Boxlab Promotions' Roster of Rising Stars

ORLANDO, FL (August 28, 2025) – Boxlab Promotions is proud to announce the signing of two of Cuba’s brightest young boxing talents–2022 IBA World Games Youth Gold Champion Ronny Alvarez (3-0, 3 KOs), age 21, and 2022 IBA World Games Youth Bronze medalist Pedro Veitia (5-0, 5 KOs), age 21, a dangerous super welterweight with a perfect knockout record. Both fighters hail from Cuba and will now continue their professional journeys under a tri-promotional collaboration with Boxlab Promotions, Dreambigg Boxing, and Warriors Boxing.

The two undefeated standouts will be training in Providence, Rhode Island, under the direction of renowned coaches, Dave Keefe, Mike Veloz and Hector Bermudez, who have a great reputation of developing elite-level fighters.

For Alvarez, who will be campaigning at super middlweight, joining forces with such an experienced team marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. “Signing with powerful promoters like Boxlab, Dreambigg, and Warriors is the opportunity of a lifetime. I believe this partnership will launch my career to new heights, and with the right fights, I will show the world my true potential.”

Confident in his decorated amateur background, Alvarez also emphasized how his pedigree will accelerate his rise. “Becoming a World Youth Champion prepared me to compete at the highest level. My amateur experience gives me the confidence to know I’m on the fast track to a world title as a professional.”

Super welterweight prospect Pedro Veitia shared his excitement as well, viewing the alliance as a springboard to his future. “To have three major promoters believe in me at this stage of my career is an honor. With this team behind me, I know my career is in the best possible hands.”

Highlighting the advantage of his international amateur experience, Veitia added. “My amateur background taught me discipline, precision, and how to win against the best in the world. That foundation will carry me quickly to the top of the professional ranks and, ultimately, to a world championship.”
Boxlab Promotions President Amaury Piedra expressed his enthusiasm about bringing Alvarez and Veitia into the fold, while also recognizing the strength of the promotional alliance. “We are truly excited to welcome Ronny Alvarez and Pedro Veitia, two exceptional Cuban talents with proven international pedigrees, to the Boxlab family. Their skills and discipline set them apart, and their early professional success shows they are ready to make waves in the sport. This partnership allows us to provide these athletes with the structure and opportunities they deserve. Together, we are committed to guiding Ronny and Pedro toward world championship magnificence.”

With this signing, Boxlab Promotions continues its mission of building the next generation of champions, strengthening its reputation as a premier home for elite prospects and rising stars.
