Three-time world champion and current WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) is set to face YouTube superstar Jake Paul (12-1-0, 7 KOs) in an exhibition bout on November 15 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event will be streamed on Netflix.

This marks Netflix's third venture into boxing streaming, following its debut with the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson bout in November 2024. The streaming giant is also scheduled to present the highly anticipated "fight of the century" between Mexican superstar Canelo Álvarez and undefeated three-time world champion Terence Crawford in September.

A significant weight difference could be a factor in the matchup, with the two fighters potentially separated by as much as 60 pounds. As of now, the specific terms regarding weight, number of rounds, and whether they will use face shields or other protective gear remain unknown.

The bout comes after negotiations for a fight between Jake Paul and former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua (28-4-0, 25 KOs) reportedly fell through. Paul has publicly stated his ambition to become a world boxing champion and had expressed a strong desire to face Joshua.

The announcement of the fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis was briefly published and then removed from Netflix's platform this Wednesday, August 20, creating a buzz on social media before being officially confirmed.
