SUPER flyweight Kevin “The Spider” Villanueva of General Santos City will be back in action against veteran Ramel Antaran of Sarangani on April 27 at the Venue 88 in Gensan.

In his last fight, Villanueva suffered his first setback against Baguio’s Carl Jeffrey Basil by disqualification for hitting the back of the head.

“I have learned from my mistakes and will move on,” said Villanueva [5-1-0, 3KOs].

Villanueva will be fighting against 28-year-old Antaran, a veteran with 38 fights.

Antaran recently lost to Kenneth Rapista by a technical knockout in the 4th round for the MinProBA flyweight title last February 15 in Davao City.

The Villanueva-Antaran fight is one of the supporting bouts of the main event featuring former IBF world champion Marlon “Nightmare” Tapales against Jon Jon Jet [15-1-1, 12KOs] of Indonesia for the WBC International Silver Super bantamweight title.

It will be dinner with a boxing show. Tickets are sold at P750 per person and six persons per table at P15,000.
