JED Encinares of Batangas settled for a majority draw in his second fight held last January 14 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The 17-year-old Encinares, who is based in Fuji, Shizuoka, drew with beginner Muto Konuma of Japan.

It was Encinares’ first draw against no win and one loss record.

Encinares said that “he lost too much weight in a single day and ended up having body aches during the fight”.

“I still haven’t healed my left hand, it wasn't my best performance,” said Encinares.

Encinares said that he made a lot of mistakes and will learn from it.

IT’S A DRAW. Referee John Hachisuka [center] raised the hands of Jed Encinares [right] and Muto Konuma for a majority draw in Tokyo.
