MANILA – The Sharks Billiard Association (SBA) second season at the state-of-the-art Sharks Arena & Sportsbar along Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City every Sunday, starting the last week of January.
This was announced by SBA founder and chief executive officer Hadley Mariano on Wednesday.
The Executive League, featuring eight teams (minimum of 5 and maximum of 7 players per team), is for executives and professionals.
Next is the Philippine Open set on the first week of March, a premier tournament for all billiards enthusiasts.
The event also serves as a scouting tournament, offering players the chance to display their skills to get the attention of teams.
After the Philippine Open is the Draft Pick where teams will select the best talents, setting the stage for another thrilling Season 2, which will open in April.
The Taguig Stallions took the Chino Trinidad Championship trophy after defeating the Manila MSW Mavericks, 3-2, in the best-of-5 title series last December.-Marlon Bernardino-
