
Gil Robiego Co Elected New APPBRO President for 2025-2027

In an important recent development on APPBRO affairs, the Association of Philippine Professional Boxing Ring Officials conducted its internal elections, choosing its officers for the the coming two-year period 2025 to 2027.
The friendly and democratic election unfolded Saturday, November 9, in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, counting with the enthusiastic attendance of judges, referees, new ones, as well as veterans, whom together conform the APPBRO Family.

During the meaningful event, APPBRO elected the much-appreciated, respected, and experienced Gil Robiego Co as its new President.
A veteran, world-class boxing judge with 1,500 professional bouts in 25 years officiating boxing, Gil Robiego Co of Caloocan, Metro Manila, promises to carry on forward APPBRO’s commitment for “Integrity, Fairness, and Competence.”
A firm believer in team work, Sir Gil Robiego Co will count with a group of outstanding boxing officials who will work with him for an even stronger APPBRO in service of Filipino boxing.
The complete new set of APPBRO officers for the year 2025-2027 are as follows:
• President: Gil Robiego Co.
• Vice PresIdent: Bobby Bridges.
• Secretary: Carlo Baluyot.
• Treasurer: Oliver Garcia.
• Auditor: Nowel Haduca.
• PRO: Jaime Villanera.
Congratulations to APPBRO for its democratic election for the 2025-2027 period.
