
Antimaro is new PBF super bantamweight champ (Complete Blow by Blow Card Results)

SOUTHPAW Ariel Antimaro of Agusan del Sur is new Philippine Boxing Federation super bantamweight champion.
The 22-year-old Antimaro beat Jhundille Castino of Bohol by a unanimous decision last July 13 at the Paranaque Sports Complex in Barangay San Antonio, Paranaque City.
Antimaro landed more hard blows against 25-year-old Castino.
Judges Silvestre Abainza and Nowel Haduca both scored 97-93 while judge Antonio Comia saw it 96-94.
Antimaro now has eight wins with two knockouts, two loses and one draw while Castino suffered his 6th defeat against 14 wins with four knockouts.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old Jonniel “The Gentle Assassin” Laurente of Paranaque retained his Philippine Youth super featherweight title after outpointing Jestine “Golden Punch” Tesoro of Bansalan, Davao del Sur in the double main header.
The southpaw Laurente, 23, now has 10 wins, one loss, one draw and five knockouts while Tesoro got his seven losses against nine wins.
The “Blow by Blow” event was promoted by former champion Manny Pacquiao with Art Monis as the matchmaker.
