Panama's Super Lightweight Daniel “Macarrón” Miranda (18-4, 12 KO’s), trained by coach Diener Baules, claimed a unanimous decision win over super tough Guatemala National Champion Juan Yoc “Mulo” Monterroso (7-3-1, 2 KO’s), in the non-title main event of Roberto Mora’s entertaining “Challenge 4.0” Promotion on Saturday, April 21, at the Chiriqui Mall in Ciudad de David, Panama.

The far more aggressive and effective “Macarrón” commanded actions throughout the fast-paced battle, landing a variety of combinations over the durable “Mulo Chapín,” who displayed enviable strength, an iron chin and heart.

There were no knockdowns, but the fully-committed Guatemala warrior suffered a cut on his left eye, which his cornermen successfully controlled.

“Macarrón” Miranda’s win paves the way for more challenging missions in the hot 140 pound weight-class.

At the end, identical scores were 79-73 (x3).

The referee was Samuel Nieto Jr. of Ciudad de David. The fight was sanctioned by the Comibox de Chiriquí
