David Jimenez Defeats John Ramirez in Non-Stop Action

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York -- In fight for the WBA Interim Super Flyweight Championship between John Ramirez (13-1, 9KOs) of Los Angeles, California and David Jimenez (16-1, 11KOs) of Cartago, Costa Rica, which saw “toe to toe” nonstop action, after 12 rounds, Jimenez handed Ramirez his first loss.

In the post fight interview, Jimenez stated he will talk to his team regarding his next move but wants to fight for a title. Two judges scored the fight 117-111 and the 3rd Judge scored it 116-112.



The Jimenez vs Ramirez bout was one of the undercards of the Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia fight Saturday night, April 20, 2024 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
